Cord Blood Banking.com was founded by two expectant parents that became disillusioned with all the information put out by the cord blood industry when trying to decide whether or not to bank their baby’s cord blood.  They found it difficult to find objective websites and even more difficult to sort through the truth when speaking directly with cord blood companies.  In addition, it seemed as though each company was trying to advertise different prices with hidden costs so you couldn’t really compare apples to apples. 

The intent of this website is to provide expectant families with an objective point of view when deciding if cord blood banking is right for them and if yes, then to give them the most reliable and up-to-date information on umbilical cord blood companies in the market today, stem cell research, and clinical trials using cord blood stem cells from umbilical cord blood. 

Please note that the founders’ ultimate decision was to privately bank their children’s umbilical cord blood.  There has been a valid attempt to show all sides of this thought process, which was thoroughly researched, and the information is valuable to families facing the same dilemma.  The creators of this site have a combined background of over 15 years in childhood education, a Master’s degree in Science Education, minors in Child Development and over 15 years working in the healthcare industry as market analysts.
